Ghanaian giants Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club have announced the first batch of technical staff appointed to play various roles at the club ahead of the upcoming Ghanaian season.
These new additions to the team bring a wealth of experience and expertise that is sure to enhance the club’s performance and drive its continued success.
According to a statement issued by the club, the new changes are to ensure good technical direction for the club and, most importantly, bring coordination to not only the senior team but also Arouras, Royal Okas, and the women’s team, Oaks FC.
In the new set of technical men, Dutchman René Haddink is a highly regarded figure in the world of football coaching. With his proven track record in player development and tactical strategies, he is poised to lead the Phobians to new heights. His leadership and guidance are expected to prove invaluable to the players and coaching staff alike.
Jerry Adjei Asare takes charge as the Goalkeeper’s trainer, while former player Sabastian Barnes, who is to work as a scout for the club he played for as a teenager, is a rising star in the coaching realm.
Having stayed abroad for more than three decades and acquiring technical knowledge in scouting, Barnes, who was part of the triumphant Black Starlet team of 1991, will lead the club’s scouting mission to search for befitting players for the team.
Female Coach and former referee Mercy Tagoe Quaico has been appointed to handle the female side of Oaks FC.
Known for her innovative training and experience with Berry Ladies, she is expected to bring the needed changes to the newly acquired female team that joins the Hearts of Oak setup. Her ability to motivate and inspire will be instrumental in fostering a positive team culture.
Carlos Klu is to take charge as welfare officer to complete the list of five, making the first batch of the staff who have been named as part of a change aimed at ensuring good technical direction for the club.
