In a groundbreaking partnership, MTN Rwanda and Mobile Money Rwanda Limited (MMRL) have joined hands with the City of Kigali to revolutionize motorcycling by introducing stylish new MTN/MMRL branded jackets. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to empowering riders, enhancing customer experiences, and contributing to the financial well-being of the community.
The branding partnership will be implemented in phases. Initially, motorcyclists will receive MoMoPay codes/QR codes, enabling them to offer passengers seamless payment options, thereby elevating the overall customer experience. Additionally, they will have the opportunity to become MTN agents, selling airtime and earning commissions, creating a new income stream.
In the subsequent phase, motorcyclists will benefit from personalized rates for services like MoKash, Mobile Money Rwanda’s microfinancing service, and access to Macye Macye, MTN’s device financing program, among others.
