Newly Elected Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye has paid tribute to the nation’s veterans, defense and security forces, urging them a renewal of all the recognition and confidence of the Nation.
In his inaugural Independence Day address, just 48 hours after his inauguration, President Faye President Faye’s message struck a unifying and optimistic tone, honoring Senegal’s military while voicing his aspirations for the country’s continued peace, unity and prosperity.
He expressed the “recognition and confidence of the Nation” towards these personnel, delivering a celebratory message for Senegal’s future.
“To veterans, defense and security forces, I renew all the recognition and confidence of the Nation, he said.
“Long live Senegal, in peace and security, united, free and prosperous! Happy Independence Day to all my compatriots.”
