Afrobeats superstar Davido has released the music video for “10 Kilo,” a track from his chart-topping fifth studio album 5IVE, delivering a vibrant celebration of body confidence and self-acceptance.
Announcing the release on his X page, Davido posted: “10 Kilo video out now! Run it up!”
Directed by Director Pink, the video transforms the song’s infectious rhythm into a bold statement about body positivity and unapologetic femininity. Set against striking backdrops with dynamic choreography, the visuals redefine mainstream beauty narratives within the Afrobeats space whilst paying tribute to late Nigerian music icon Sound Sultan.
“When I recorded ’10 Kilo,’ I wanted it to be more than just a song you dance to,” Davido explained. “It’s about loving yourself exactly as you are – it’s paying respect to Sound Sultan, who taught us to stand tall in our truth.”
