Morocco Women’s national team have officially qualified for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup after reaching the WAFCON semi-finals.
The Women’s World Cup takes place next year, with Australia and New Zealand being the tournament’s hosts.
the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations serves as the World Cup qualifying tournament for CAF members, and to book a spot in Australia, you have to reach the semi-finals.
The Atlas Lionesses successfully did that by beating Botswana in the quarter-finals 2-1, becoming the first Arab nation to reach the Women’s World Cup.

Morocco will also be accompanied by Zambia who knocked out Senegal in a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw.
Another Arab country that has the chance to qualify is Tunisia which will also be competing for a semi-finals spot as they clash with South Africa.
