Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Hamilton, says her ‘pressure’ comes when she is about to mount the stage to minister.
The 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards [VGMA] Artist of the year was asked in an interview with Accra-based Tv3 whether she feels pressured, she laughed it out and said “my pressure comes when I’m about to mount the stage.”
She also added that she only focuses on mounting the stage and takes no pictures when she’s about to mount the stage to perform.
The ‘Mo Ne Yo’ hitmaker said her latest song (My Meditations) was inspired by a sickness she went through, and that is where she drafted the lyrics “When my mouth is out of words, let my heart do the talking”.
According to her, she is able to get inspiration for songs, but it takes time for her to record because she is a bit of a perfectionist.
She advised all gospel musicians to serve the church they belong to and meditate daily in other prepares themselves spiritually for their ministry.
