Lagos – Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has offered prayers and support for President Bola Tinubu, who is currently leading the country.
In an Instagram post, Edochie declared his backing for Tinubu saying “I stand by you Sir. My President. 100%. I’m praying for you to succeed.”
The actor and politician stated he was praying for God to give Tinubu “all you need to fix Nigeria” as he tackles major challenges facing the nation.
Edochie added that he believes Tinubu will be able to turn the country around now that he is president.
“I pray for God to give you all you need to fix Nigeria. I believe you will,” he wrote in the social media endorsement.
The actor has been an avid supporter of the 71-year-old Tinubu throughout his presidential campaign. His social media endorsement affirms his unwavering love and faith in the Nigerian president.
Tinubu assumed the presidency in May last year after emerging as the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential flagbearer and winning the 2023 election.
Edochie’s public support comes as Tinubu seeks to shore up his popularity and deliver on his campaign promises.
