The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke the winner of the Osun state governorship election.
Adeleke won 17 out of 30 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the South-West state.
The incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress APC, won the remaining 13 LGAs.
The election which began on Saturday had the results pronounced in the early hours of Sunday morning, July 17 at the INEC office in Osogbo.
