The President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has held an official high-level talks with the Amir of Qatar HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday morning.
At the beginning of the session, the Amir welcomed the Egyptian President and the accompanying delegation, wishing the brotherly relations between the two countries further development and growth, hoping that this visit would contribute to the consolidation of cooperation relations between the two countries to achieve the aspirations and interests of the two brotherly peoples.
For his part, the Egyptian President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, hoping to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries and push them to broader horizons at all levels.
During the session, they discussed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, especially in the field of investment, transport and social affairs, in addition to discussing a number of current issues on the regional and international arenas of common concern.
The Amir hosted a lunch banquet in honor of the President, and the accompanying delegation. The Egyptian President had arrived at the Amiri Diwan earlier today, where an official reception ceremony was held for him.
