Manchester United superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is the newest owner of Portugal’s most expensive house.
Despite enduring a difficult first half of the season in England, Ronaldo seems to be doing just fine off the pitch.
According to Marca, the 37-year-old forward has added yet another asset to his multi-million array of investments.
The publication reports that Ronaldo has bought the most expensive house in Portugal, valued at around $11 million.
Located in the region of Cascais, the villa is estimated to be worth $21 million after the expected remodelling and construction takes place.
The three-storey villa sits on 544 square metres and features incredible extras, including gardens and a fabulous swimming pool.

While it remains unclear why Ronaldo acquired the property, it is possible it forms part of his preparations to return to Portugal.
It has been widely reported that the five-time Ballon d’Or winner is planning to wind up his career in his home country, with boyhood club Sporting Lisbon among the favourites to re-sign him.
Ronaldo has entered the final months of his Manchester United contract with his current deal set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.
