Bow Wow is speaking out. The 35-year-old hip-hop star and actor has defended himself after he was slammed by social media critics for selling meet and greet tickets ranging from $150 to $1000.
On Monday, September 5, the “That’s My Name” hitmaker turned to his Twitter account to hit out at trolls. “Mafukkas cant read! My meet n greets start at 150$ yall only reporting the diamond package. Stop acting like to meet me its a stack,” he began. “Bowwowvip.com there are 3 packages you can choose from. READ BEFORE YALL START POSTING S**T ON THESE BLOGS.”
In a following tweet, Bow Wow, born Shad Gregory Moss, added, “You see when im chilling minding my business staying off the net THEY STILL HAVE TO TALK ABOUT ME.” He continued, “One week its ‘Bow wow sells out o2 arena hes a goat’ to who wants to meet him for 1k? Ya baby momma n***a thats who. Read before u post bout me. Stop playing with the dog.”

Bow Wow started the meet and greet tickets sale on Sunday, September 4. When announcing the happy news, “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” star tweeted, “Official Bow wow ‘Meet & Greet’ Tickets On sale now! Diamond, Platinum, or Gold Package. Your pick!”
According to the site, the Gold Package, which is $150, includes “personal meet + greet & photo with Bow Wow, digital download of your meet & greet with Bow Wow, souvenir VIP laminate & lanyard, commemorative VIP T-shirt and access to early merchandise shopping with special item available for sale only to VIP guests.”
Platinum Package, in the meantime, costs $400. It includes “attend Bow Wow’s pre-show VIP lounge party, personal meet + greet & photo with Bow Wow, digital download of your meet & greet with Bow Wow, souvenir VIP laminate & lanyard, commemorative VIP hoodie, exclusive drawstring bag and access to early merchandise shopping with special item available for sale only to VIP guests.”
The most expensive package, Diamond Package, costs $1000. It includes “the ultimate hang with Bow Wow: a 30-45 minute personal hang & tour conducted by Bow!” According to the site, “ONLY 10 FANS in each city will get a behind the scenes look at backstage areas, lounge, tour bus, and more.”
As news of Bow Wow’s $1000 ticket spread on Twitter, fans had a lot to say about the same. “Not Bow Wow charging $1k for meet and greet,” one person wrote, while another added, “Lil Bow Wow charging $1K for a meet and greet in 2022 is hella wild and I thought it was fake when I saw it.” A third joked, “Lol Bow Wow better pay ME $1k for a meet and greet. It’ll be the best financial advice he ever got.”
