Interestingly, Hearts of Oak will be playing away from their usual home ground, the Accra Sports Stadium. Hearts goes into this match under the guidance of their assistant coach, Tijani, who is currently acting as the interim coach following the sacking of head coach Koopman. While this change may affect the team dynamics, Hearts has historically performed well against Kotoko when playing with a stop-gap coach. Their ability to adapt and rally together has often resulted in favorable results.

On the other hand, Asante Kotoko’s coach, Ogum, will have the support of Coach Kwesi Appiah, who was previously the technical director of the team. This collaboration adds depth and experience to the coaching staff, giving Kotoko an edge as they seek victory against their long-standing rivals.
