Black Stars Technical Advisor Chris Hughton has stated that the team will be well prepared for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In the last few months, the team has struggled in friendly games and there has been an air of pessimism among Ghanaians. But the former Newcastle man strongly believes that the players will give a 100% to do well in Qatar. ‘One thing I’m confident of is the work Otto and the technical staff have put in. This team will be very well prepared and the players will give everything. We will have to play well and we’ll need a bit of luck. But we’ve seen in past tournaments that anything is possible for a country like ours,’ he told Daily Mail.
Ghana have been drawn in Group H with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea for the 2022 World Cup.
