Cardi B Brags About Getting $1M Per Show After Being Trolled For Performing In ‘Someone’s Backyard’.
Cardi B is indeed the queen of clapback. Having been mocked by an online troll for performing in “someone’s backyard,” the “WAP” hitmaker revealed that she got $1 million from the show and even shared the receipt.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, December 3, the female rapper shared a document from WP Touring, Inc. It showed her getting paid $1 million for a performance during the Art Basel festivities in Miami over the weekend.
“I got payed 1 million dollars to perform at this elite bankers event private event for 400 people and only for 35 minutes,” the wife of Offset boasted in the since-deleted tweet. “THINK ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU TYPE ABOUT THIS GRAMMY WINNER [a gold cup emoji].”
It was seemingly Cardi’s response to the critic’s insulting tweet. In the said post, the troll wrote alongside a video of the femcee’s gig, “Not the Grammy winner performing in someone’s backyard.”
Just last week, Cardi hit back at a TikTok user who accused her of not releasing a new album because she’s afraid of disappointing record sales. “I’m never afraid of numbers, honey, and I don’t gotta put out another album if I don’t want to,” she explained.
“I EAT GOOD OFF MY diamond records alone,” the mom of two further noted.
