Renowned Moroccan-Dutch kickboxing champion Badr Hari is preparing for one last fight, showcasing unwavering determination and skill as he prepares to leave a lasting legacy in the ring.
Hari announced the news in a post on his official Instagram page. “@glorykickboxing WGP…ONE LAST TIME,” the Moroccan champion wrote in the post. Attached to the post is an emoji of the Moroccan flag.
The upcoming fight will see Hari go face-to-face with English kickboxer and retired mixed martial artist James Adam McSweeney. The encounter is scheduled to take place on September 9 in Dome de Paris.

With more than 10 years under his belt fighting as a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) kickboxer, Hari’s latest win dates back to 2015 when he won against Surinamese-Dutch kickboxer Ismael Londt.
The new match comes almost eight months after Hari’s defeat against Dutch kickboxer Alistair Overeem. The Moroccan champion had announced then that he was considering retiring and bid his fans farewell in case he never saw them again.
After the game against Overeem, Hari immediately said that he is “going to put a stop to it,” adding that he is “considering a farewell,” according to a news report from Dutch news agency ANP.
“If I don’t see you again. Thank you very much for everything,” Hari told his fans after the match in the Gelredome in Arnhem.
In 2018, the Moroccan-Dutch athlete almost won against Dutch kickboxer Hesdy Gerges, but his victory was short-lived as he was stripped of the title after testing positive in a drug test.
