The trial for murder of former South African footballer, Senzo Meyiwa, that was postponed on Friday after Advocate Sipho Ramosepele got sick continues today, 8 May.
Mthokozisi Thwala who is a state witness is back on the stand with Ramosepele, detailing his own version of what happened on the night Senzo Meyiwa was shot.
Thwala was the best friend of the slain soccer player, Senzo Meyiwa and he was also present at the house during the shooting.
Tweeps are applauding the advocate based on his questions. Stating that he came back stronger after his short illness.
People are noticing a number of contradictions on Tumelo Madlala’s story than the one that Thwala is currently detailing. The two that were part of the seven adults that were present at the time that the soccer player was shot dead.
Mthokozisi said Senzo scuffled with the gunman whereas Tumelo had said Senzo scuffled with the knife man.
“I put it to you that that apparent act of Bravado from Longwe Twala did not happen,” said Adv Sipho stating that the situation is at odds with the real life situation of robbery.
Tweets believe Tumelo and Mthokozosi might be protecting the real gunman hence the contradictions in their stories and that the five accused are being framed.
