The Nigerian lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency of Ondo State, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, on Monday January 9, 2023, survived an assassination attempt made on his life.
Accordingto a report by local news outlet, Daily Independent, the assassination attempt on Adefisoye’s life was carried out in his hometown, Idanre by assailants hired by a PDP candidate for the House of Representatives seat.
It was also added that some assailant hired by another PDP loyalist squally joined in attempting the life of Adefisoye.
The incident has however been reported at Idanre police command while personal vehicles of Adefisoye riddled with bullets were also been brought to the police station.
Meanwhile, Small Alhaji as he is fondly called was lucky to have survived the attack unscathed.
He however appealed to his followers not to embark on any reprisal attack. He charged the security agencies to investigate the incident and make necessary prosecutions.
