The Egyptian Club Association (ECA) have released a statement warning fans over potential bans until the end of the season.
Both Al Ahly and Ismaily fans were sanctioned by the ECA last month for misconduct with over 1,630 fans being banned from attending games.
The ECA had revealed that the reason for the embargo was the excessive use of abusive language towards the opposition.
They have now issued a new warning to all clubs in a new statement and revealed that such gestures will not be tolerated.
“After recent incidents involving Al Ahly, Ittihad of Alexandria, and Ismaily due to insulting chants, we decided that fans will not be allowed to attend games until the end of the season as a direct punishment for these actions,” the ECA said in a statement.
