Delegates at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates conference have said that they will vote for people who have the grassroots at heart.
They say over the years they have voted for people who have always neglected the grassroots and therefore this time, their choice will be people who will have them at heart.
“I’ve made my mind, what I’m praying for is the delegates to vote for somebody who will consider the grassroots,” one delegate said.
Another delegate also mentioned that “we have voted for people who have neglected us for years but this time around we will not fall for people begging us to try them”.
“Whether you like it or not you’ll be convinced but it depends on what you yourself you’ve considered. Nothing can change my mind I’m telling you.”
On the economic mess the country finds itself in, a delegate indicated that it’s global and there is a need for Ghanaians to take note of that fact. So many factors are working against the countries. There is hardship but the party is strong. We need to come together as a people and explain. That is where we are failing, our communicators should be up and doing”.
