Comoros, after their historic victory against Central African Republic, believe they can challenge Ghana. Despite scoring two own goals, Comoros came from behind to secure a 4-2 win, marking their first-ever victory in World Cup qualifying.
The East African islanders made their Africa Cup of Nations debut in Cameroon last year, defeating Ghana in the process, although they were eliminated by the hosts in the knockout stage.
For Ghana, the defeat to Comoros in the AFCON was a low point in their history, exiting the group stage for the first time since 2006.
