Ghana’s opposition leader has said the current president Nana Akufo-Addo and his vice, Mahamudu Bawumia “governance has eroded Ghana’s democratic goodwill”.
The former president and leader of Ghana’s main opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC), in a New Month Message on X (formerly Twitter), said: “Political credibility is at an all-time low, never experienced in the history of the 4th Republic. December 07, 2024, election is crucial to restoring faith in our democracy”.
John Dramani Mahama added: “Poor leadership must be held accountable for the corruption and deteriorating conditions”.
