In an interview with The Nation, the rapper urged the leaders to fix up the nation in order to attract more people to Nigeria.
He hinted that the country is blessed with many resources and talented, skillful people but lack the avenue to showcase it.
“The greedy politicians should fix up the country. We could’ve been like Dubai a long time ago because we have the resources, why not fix our country to draw in more people which would bring more people to Nigeria, pay your people well, create more jobs, and also the police taking money. The youth are so talented and skillful but they don’t have an outlet to showcase it, All eyes are on Nigeria, we must do better,” he said.
Sleek was born in Benin City, Nigeria in 1990, he later moved to Toronto, Canada in 1998 and has since been writing, recording, and mixing music since he was 17-years-old.
He has several songs to his name which include ‘Feel the vibe’, ‘The Plug’, ‘Proceed with caution,’ and ‘Find me’ among others.
Sleek mentioned that he is looking forward to visiting Nigeria and continue his musical career.
The rising star also said that he would love to work with award winning artistes such as Asake, Tems, Rema, Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Ruger.
