Hearts of Oak forward Daniel Afriyie Barnieh scored a brace for Black Meteors as they clinched a 2-1 win over Mozambique in the U-23 AFCON qualifiers.
The first half was a dull one with both teams failing to find the net.
But in the second half, Ghana came alive. A penalty was won early in the second half. Barnieh stepped up and converted expertly.
He got another chance from the spot minutes later and made no mistake.
Mozambique got a late goal but it was not enough as Ghana have the advantage going into the second leg.
