Nigerian-American music superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has announced the launch of his new social media platform called “Chatter Social” on Apple’s App Store.
The artist revealed the app’s global availability on the Apple App Store through his social media accounts, marking a significant expansion of his business ventures beyond the music industry.
It comes after five months of anticipation since the artist first disclosed his role in the platform’s development earlier this year he advised potential users to either ask for an invite from friends already on the app or reach out to Chatter’s official accounts on X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram.
“Just 5 months ago, I revealed my role in this amazing platform, and today it’s finally here!” Davido exclaimed in his announcement post.
Need an invite? Ask a friend on the app or reach out to
@Chatter_US on X & Instagram.
Chatter Social, developed by Davido in collaboration with his friend Sir Banko, is described as an audiovisual social platform.
The app aims to provide a space for content creators to amplify their voices and connect with a vibrant community. However, Davido emphasized that Chatter isn’t exclusively for content creators; it also caters to business-minded individuals and anyone looking to build connections.
The app is now available for download worldwide on iOS devices through the Apple App Store.
This move into the tech world represents a significant diversification of Davido’s career and business interests. It also follows his recent foray into cryptocurrency with the launch of his own meme coin called $Davido last month.
With Davido’s massive following and international appeal, the app has the potential to gain significant traction, especially among his fan base and content creators looking for new platforms to showcase their work.
