The Disciplinary Committee of the Saudi Football Association has decided to fine Tarek Hamed SR 10,000 and ban him for one game following the Al-Fayha game incident.
Ittihaad Jeddah qualified for the semi-finals of the King Cup of champions, after defeating Al-Fayhaa 4-3 on penalties in the quarter-finals of the King Cup of champions.
After the end of the game, a video emerged showing Tarek Hamed directing inappropriate words to the Al-Fayhaa goalkeeper, Vladimir Stojkovic, during the confrontation between the two teams.
Despite the Serbian goalkeeper refusing to take legal action against Hamed, the Saudi FA still ensured to hand the Egyptian a one-game ban for misconduct.
The ban will be applied in Ittihad’s upcoming game in the league against Al-Fateh, with the addition of Hamed missing the Saudi Cup semi-final due to the accumulation of cards.
Ittihad Jeddah will play against Al-Hilal on April 23 in the semi-finals of the King Cup of Champions.
