The French president Emmanuel Macron says he has spoken to Israeli President Herzog and Prime Minister Netanyahu and “strongly condemn the current terrorist attacks against Israel.”
“I condemn the attacks carried out from Gaza on Israel, its soldiers and its people,” president Emanuel Macron.
“France stands in solidarity with Israel and the Israelis, committed to their security and their right to defend themselves,” he said on X.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on early Saturday declared that Israel is “at war” after Gaza Strip militants fired over 2,000 missiles and infiltrated southern parts of the country.
The United States has also pledged to help Israel defend itself and the citizenry.
