The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held its annual awards ceremony last night in Marakech, Morocco to honor the best performers in African football over the past year.
The big winner of the evening was Nigeria, which dominated across multiple categories. Super Eagles stars like Moses Simon and Asisat Oshoala took home hardware, as did Nigerian coach Jose Peseiro for engineering the national team’s recent resurgence.
Other African football powerhouses like Senegal and Morocco also saw their players recognized, but overall the night belonged to Nigeria. With top talent leading the way, hopes are high for the future of Nigerian football. Below is the full list of all the winners from a memorable 2023 CAF Awards:
