The Information Minister says the Akufo-Addo government has not sidelined the idea of cutting expenditure amid the economic crisis.
Speaking on JoyNews’ The Probe, the Minister said government is still open to the idea of making sacrifices for the country.
He said this on Sunday, April 16, when discussing the topic “Ghana’s IMF Quest: The Spring Meeting”
“It is fair to remind ourselves that already some cuts have taken place, in addition to those cuts it is also fair to continuously examine where some further cuts can take place. I have never attended any government meeting that says government is closed to further cuts”.
