The Black Stars of Ghana will play a friendly Match with Mexico national team in October 14, 2023 in the United States of America, the Ghana Football Association has announced.
It is one of two friendlies to be played by the West African giants as part of their preparation towards the AFCON 2023 and the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
It comes from a contract signed between the GFA and the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF) and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) for an International friendly against 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup champions Mexico in the United States as part of the 20th anniversary of the MexTour.
The venue for the Mexico game is yet to be named but it heralds another friendly between the Black Stars and the US National team at GEODIS Park in Nashville on October 17
