There are reports that Ghanaians may experience a shortage of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) during the festive season.
Consumers are mad rushing to various LPG filling stations to buy and store for the holidays ahead.
The Association of LPG Ghana Distributors says there is more than enough for the next two months.
Mr. Gabriel Kumi, Vice president of the association told Accra-based Tv3: ‘there is more than enough for this festive season”.
He added that there’s no need for consumers to rush in buying for future use.
The vice president further advised consumers to desist from buying large qualities for storage because of how dangerous it can be should there be a fire outbreak.
Mr. Kumi predicted a reduction in LPG prices in the country in the days ahead.
