Moroccan football star Hakim Ziyech’s transfer to Saudi football club Al Nassr is a done deal, with an £8million being the quoted figure to grab the 30-year-old from Chelsea, new converging reports said.
Fabrizio Romano, a reporter specializing in football transfers, said on Sunday that Ziyech is set to complete his transfer to Al Nassr this week.

“Chelsea and Al Nassr, confident to get documents signed for Ziyech between Monday and Tuesday,” the journalist said.
Sports news outlet Goal also reported on the news, stressing Ziyech’s eagerness to join the Saudi team.
Goal stressed that the Atlas Lion hopes to have his transfer to the Saudi club finalized in the coming days.
Seen as a reliable journalist, Romano said last week that the Saudi club and the Moroccan playmaker “reached a verbal agreement” that would allow Ziyech to join the club “very soon.”
“Personal terms agreed as Ziyech will sign a contract valid until 2026, also joining Cristiano Ronaldo,” he added.
No details on the transfer’s fees have been disclosed yet.
Many reports have emphasized that negotiations “were advancing well” between the Atlas Lion and Al Nassr as well as between Chelsea and the Saudi club.
Ziyech has been struggling to secure playing time with Chelsea throughout the past few seasons.
The Atlas Lion, however, remained one of the Moroccan national team’s key players.
During the 2022 World Cup, Ziyech played a significant role in contributing to the Atlas Lions’ historic journey at the global competition.
