Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu backs Ghana’s former Black Stars captain’s request to join the team in the upcoming world cup in Qatar.
Asamoah Gyan told BBC that he still has the talent and all he needs is to prepare physically, he added that it is every player’s dream to be at the World Cup.
Gyan said he has already started an eight weeks program. “My physical instructor told me I’m improving faster than he thought.”
This has got many Ghanaians talking on social media.
Atsu now plays his active football in Saudi Arabia. Atsu and Gyan were teammates in the 2014 Fifa World Cup in Brazil.
