A new bundle of joy is on the way for Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan. The Facebook co-founder is “happy” to announce that he and his wife of ten years are expecting their third child together.

Sharing the good news via Instagram on Wednesday, September 21, the 38-year-old billionaire gushed that he’s feeling “lots of love” as he and his wife are going to welcome the new addition to their family, a baby girl, next year. “Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!” he wrote along with a picture of him and Priscilla all smiles as he cradled her baby bump.

The pair were quickly showered with congratulatory messages in the comment section. Emmy Award winner Melinda Davenport wrote, “Awwww! Such wonderful news. Congrats!” Photographer Todd Glaser simply commented on the post, “Congrats!!!!”

Instagram Co-Head of Product, Ashley Yuki, weighed in, “Congratulations to you both!!!” Entrepreneur Morin Oluwole similarly reacted to the news, “Congrats Mark & Priscilla!” while Mark’s sister Randi Zuckerberg excitedly responded, “Yay!!!!!! Serious girl power family! Can’t wait to meet her! Mazel Mazel!”

Mark met Priscilla, who was a fellow Harvard student, at a frat party during his sophomore year there. She later graduated from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco in 2012. They got married on May 19, 2012 in the grounds of his mansion.

In July 2015, the Meta CEO announced that they were expecting a baby girl after Priscilla had previously experienced three miscarriages. Their first child, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg, was born on December 1, 2015. Their second daughter, August, was born in August 2017.

In December 2016, Mark was ranked tenth on Forbes list of The World’s Most Powerful People. As of September of this year, his net worth is estimated at $52.8 billion, according to the Forbes’ Real Time Billionaires.
