A wave of demonstrators flooded the streets in front of the US Consulate in Morocco as a passionate crowd voiced their support for Palestine in the wake of the Gaza conflict.
Thousands gathered to protest against recent developments in the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, emphasising the need for international solidarity and justice.
It comes after a similar protest was held in Rabat.
Carrying banners and chanting slogans, the protesters called for an end to the violence and urged global leaders to take immediate action to address the situation. The rally attracted people from diverse backgrounds, including activists, students, and concerned citizens, who united under the common cause of advocating for Palestinian rights.
In a video clip posted on social media, the protesters chanted slogans against the war on Gaza in support of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, launched by the Palestinian Hamas group on Oct. 7.
The demonstration aimed to raise awareness about the plight of Palestinians and draw attention to their struggle for independence and freedom. The escalating tensions in the region, highlighted by recent clashes, compelled the Moroccans to gather in solidarity with their fellow brothers and sisters in Palestine.
