Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has revealed that he is eager to go up against Cristiano Ronaldo in the 2022 World Cup.
Ghana will face Portugal in their first Group H game where they will likely go up against five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kudus will hope to make his mark against one of the best in history.
“I think it will be a great moment to share the same pitch with an iconic player like Cristiano Ronaldo. We all look up to him and watched him on TV so it will be a great experience sharing the same field with him but with all the respect, we will approach the game with the same mentality,” he told TV3 in Ghana.
Kudus has scored five goals for the Black Stars in his young career so far.
Ghana is pitted in Group H alongside against Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
The Black Stars will commence their World Cup campaign against Portugal on November 24 before taking on Uruguay and South Korea respectively.
