Morocco’s national futsal team is set to play three friendly games against Argentina and Denmark in September.
The first two games will be against Argentina, with the first matchup set to take place on September 14 at 2 P.M. Moroccan time in the indoor arena of the Prince Moulay Abdallah Sports Complex in Rabat.
The second game will take place two days later at 4 P.M. at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Morocco will also go up against Denmark on September 19 at 7 P.M. at the Mohammed VI Football Complex.
Hicham Dguig’s team was recently crowned 2023 Arab Champions after a 7-1 goal fest in the final, that took place in Saudi Arabia on the 16th of June, against Kuwait.
The team is hoping to attain further great achievements in the future, as they have previously reached the quarter-finals of the 2021 Futsal World Cup, where they were eliminated by Brazil in a game that ended 1-0.
With top-tier players such as Anasse El Ayanne, Youssef Jaouad, and Soufiane El-Mesrar, Morocco’s national futsal team are hoping to rewrite history by qualifying for the upcoming 2024 Fifa Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan and going even further than their last run.
However, before reaching the global stage, Morocco will have to compete in Mozambique for the 2024 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations where the winner will automatically be qualified for the World Cup.
