Miss South Africa 2021 and Miss Supranational 2022, Lalela Mswane, handed over the stunning uBuhle crown to the Limpopo native at the glitzy pageant
The Miss South Africa pageant on 13 August kicked off on a high note with performances from rappers Nadia Nakai, Boity and Rouge and R&B star Elaine.
The glamorous top 10 contestants were introduced to the country and the event was underway!
After strutting her stuff in the swimwear and evening gown sections and the tough question sections, Ndavi Nokeri was officially crowned Miss South Africa 2022.
Ayanda Thabethe from Maritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal will be Nokeri’s runner-up. If Nokeri cannot fulfil her duties, Thabethe will step in.
Nokeri is the third Miss South Africa winner from Limpopo behind Bokang Montjane and Shudufhazo Musida.
Meanwhile, some South Africans have taken to social media to celebrate Ndavi Nokeri for emerging winner in 2022.
Taking to social media, Ndavi Nokeri was praised by South African tweeps following her Miss South Africa win.
“Congratulations to our newly crowned her majesty Ndavi Nokeri. Being Miss South Africa makes you a spokesperson and ambassador for a lot of things. Therefore rise and share the light with all the girls out there,” wrote one tweep.
“Ndavi Nokeri just raised the bar for everybody’s whose from Tzaneen,” wrote another tweep.
