Turkish side Beşiktaş has announced the signing of Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly.
Eric Bailly left Manchester United on a free transfer this week, signing a one-year contract with Beşiktaş.
It is a fresh start for Bailly, who was not part of manager Erik ten Hag‘s plans.
“Our club has reached an agreement with Manchester United regarding the final transfer of Ivorian defender Eric Bailly,” club statement stated.
“We wish great success to Eric Bailly, who we believe will provide important services to our club, with our glorious jersey, and we respectfully present it to the public.”

Eric Bailly sent a message out on Instagram, expressing a big thank you for his eventful time at Manchester United.
“As I leave this club after many years of incredible memories, outstanding teammates, and trophies, I want to express my profound gratitude.”
