Nottingham Forest has announced the departure of Ghana’s Black Stars captain Andre Ayew following the conclusion of his contract with the club.
Andre joined Forest in January on a six-month deal after his departure from Al Sadd in late 2022.
During his time at Forest, the 33-year-old forward made 13 appearances under the guidance of manager Steve Cooper as the club fought to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Although Andre was brought in to provide experience to the squad, he was unable to find the back of the net in his 306 minutes of playing time. Additionally, he missed a penalty during one of his appearances for the team.
With his contract now expired, Andre Ayew is currently a free agent and is actively searching for a new club ahead of the upcoming season.
