President Paul Kagame attended the Officer Cadets Commissioning Ceremony at the Rwanda Military Academy – Gako on Monday, taking time to tour the academy’s new and upgraded facilities.
The commissioning ceremony was a significant milestone for the newest batch of officer cadets, who have completed their rigorous training at the prestigious Rwanda Military Academy.
As Commander-in-Chief, President Kagame oversaw the formal induction of these young officers into the Rwanda Defence Force.
A multipurpose hall, medical lab, and state-of-the-art smart classrooms have been upgraded to ensure smooth running of the academy.
This event underscores the Rwandan government’s continued investment and focus on strengthening its military capabilities. Under President Kagame’s leadership, the Rwanda Defence Force has emerged as one of the most professional and well-equipped armed forces in the region.
