Prudential Bank Ghana has launched a new service that allows customers to seamlessly transfer funds between their MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) wallets and Prudential bank accounts.
It becomes the latest to integrate with mobile money platforms, following similar moves by other banks looking to meet evolving customer needs in the digital age.
The new offering, announced this week, aims to provide a convenient banking experience by bridging the gap between mobile money and traditional banking services.
To access the new service, customers simply need to visit their nearest Prudential Bank branch and link their MoMo wallet to their bank account. Once linked, they can initiate real-time fund transfers between the two platforms through their mobile phones or by visiting any Prudential branch or MoMo agent.
Experience seamless banking! You can now transfer funds conveniently between your MTN Momo wallet and your Prudential Bank account,” the bank said in a statement.
“Visit any Prudential Bank branch to link your bank account to your MTN Momo wallet today.”
The integration is expected to drastically improve financial inclusion by allowing populations with limited access to traditional banking services to use their mobile money accounts as a gateway to formal banking.
