Sierra Leone’s Inter-Faith Commission is in Ghana to understudy the work of the National Peace Council and draw lessons from it for the upcoming elections in that country.
The delegation, led by the First Vice President Alhaji Mintada M. Sesay, will be in Ghana for a week.
While in the country, the delegation will undertake study tours to learn and strengthen early warning responses and best practices in promoting best practices around elections management and sustainable peace.
Sierra Leone will be conducting its general election this year in June 2023.
