Two people have been killed in a drive-by shooting which took place in the Effingham area in Durban, South Africa.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said that at 3pm on Monday, Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the scene of a shooting incident on Effingham Road.
“On arrival at the scene, a silver Lexus was found peppered with high-calibre bullet holes,” Van Reenen said.
“Two adult males were found seated in the vehicle. Closer inspection found them to have sustained fatal injuries and they were declared dead on arrival of paramedics.”
Van Reenen added that the South African Police Services were in attendance and would be conducting the necessary investigations accordingly.
Police have been approached for comment but are yet to do so.
