The 16th edition of the awards was streamed on the SAFTAs YouTube channel and Mzansi Magic. It ran under the theme, Frame the Future, with creatives such as Joel ‘Juelz’ Mahlatjie, Zithulele Khwela, Anthony Croft and Simon Ratcliffe winning trophies in the sound and music categories.
