The former Ghanaian president John Mahama today launched his campaign to lead the opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The NDC’s flagbearership elections are scheduled for May 13, 2023.
Speaking at the launch of his campaign, Mahama said, the next NDC government will complete all abandoned projects and will not rush to commence new ones if voted into power.
Mahama’s flagbearership campaign was launched at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho,
themed ‘Building Ghana We Want Together’.
The NDC opened nominations for presidential and parliamentary primaries from February 22-24.
Three other persons who have picked up the forms include former Finance Minister, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor, former Mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu and businessman, Ernest Kwaku Krobea.
