According to media reports on Belgian portal Nieuwsblad Serie A leaders Napoli are considering signing Union Saint-Gilloise striker Victor Boniface as a potential replacement for compatriot Victor Osimhen who has been on the radar of top clubs in Europe.

Apart from the fact that both players were born in Lagos, they also share some similarities.

The 22-year-old Nigerian forward joined the Belgian side last summer from Bodo/Glimt in a deal worth around €2m, a price that looks like a bargain in hindsight considering his explosive work this season.
