Ghana’s electricity company (ECG) has cut off its power supply to Kumasi Technical University, Adako Jachie Campus.

The Adako Jachie Campus of the university is the second campus of the university, the main campus is at Amakom.

Exclusive information to Africanews360.com news desk indicates that the Ghanaian Electricity Company disconnected power to two hostels of the university on Tuesday afternoon.

Our sources told us the university hostels owe ECG an accumulated amount of about Ghc300,000.00

Our Checks show that disconnecting of power to the university dates back as far as 2014 and 2015 meaning this is not surprising to many.

Our effort to reach the Estate officer of the University was unsuccessful.
