British Airways, in a bid to enhance connectivity and provide more options to passengers, has introduced a new route, connecting Accra with London Gatwick, in addition to its existing daily flights between Accra and London Heathrow.
The offer that begins this week will have flights to Gatwick depart from Accra at 21.20 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, arriving at Gatwick at 04.00.
Excitingly, they plan to add a fourth weekly service to this route starting in April next year.
With this expansion, British Airways aims to cater to the increasing travel demands between these two vibrant cities while providing travellers with greater flexibility and convenience. The new route will offer customers an alternative choice, enabling them to select between the two major airports in London.
Passengers flying from London Heathrow to Accra will experience the airline’s top-of-the-line A350 fleet, renowned for its fuel efficiency.
The A350 boasts the latest generation of the business class seat, known as the Club Suite, providing travellers with an exceptional and comfortable journey.
British Airways continues to enhance the travel experience for its passengers, making it a prime choice for those flying between Accra and London.
As travel restrictions continue to ease, British Airways’ decision to expand its services demonstrates confidence in the future recovery of the aviation industry. The airline is actively playing its part in restoring global connectivity and facilitating the return of international travel while adhering to all necessary health and safety protocols.
