Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali has begun a comprehensive 100-day performance assessment of his cabinet, focusing on recent reforms and setting priorities for the coming quarter.
The review meeting, which commenced on Friday, aims to evaluate the effectiveness of government initiatives and identify key areas requiring attention in the next three months.
“We have commenced the 100-day cabinet performance review to set direction for the next quarter,” Mr Abiy said in a statement.
The Prime Minister, who has been implementing wide-ranging reforms since taking office in 2018, emphasised the importance of assessing both completed reforms and emerging challenges.
The quarterly review comes as Ethiopia continues to navigate significant economic reforms and regional diplomatic initiatives.
The outcome of these discussions is expected to shape government policy direction and implementation strategies for the remainder of the year.
