Former Egyptian national team player Hosny Abd Rabo Abdel Mottaleb Ibrahim has shared a heartfelt Instagram post honoring his beloved mother, thanking her for her guidance and prayers throughout his illustrious career.
Abd Rabou posted the emotional message on Instagram along with photos showing him smiling happily with his mother and brothers.
The former midfielder, who retired from professional soccer in 2013, addressed his mother affectionately in the social media tribute, thanking her for her guidance and prayers.

Despite achieving football stardom, Abd Rabou remains grounded by his mother’s influence.
The former midfielder represented Egypt over 100 times in his international career, including winning the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2008 and 2010. He was named player of the tournament in 2008 while wearing his signature number 8 jersey.
Abd Rabou also starred domestically for top clubs like Ismaily and also had a stint with Strasbourg in France Al Ittihad Jeddah.
But the Ismailia born credits his mother for nurturing him through prayer and wisdom.
